Today we traveled by bus from San Marino to Rimini, Italy, which is on the coast of the Adriatic Sea. Then we took an Italian train to Bologna (spell: Oscar Meyer), Italy. Then an Austrian train through the Alps to Villach, Austria. Then a Slovenian train to Ljubljana. We boarded the bus in San Marino at 9:30am and arrived in Ljubljana at 10:30 pm.

We contemplated taking a taxi since it was a 30-minute walk. I have always been told to not stop walking in the dark, and especially don’t look at a map or a phone. It looks like you don’t know where you are going. Then you are an easy mark.
Rob asked a taxi driver where the Holiday Inn Express was located. He pointed down the road with not a word about taking his taxi so away we went walking!!
The sidewalks are flat and smooth so it was quite easy. I have never seen so many bikes after dark.

The Holiday Inn Express is nestled in a suburban area. They were waiting for us. We were the last ones to check in!!!
