My brother, Edward, and I left home three days ago. We arrived in India on Saturday morning, February 4, at 4 a.m. after a grueling series of flights. Our first flight from New York JFK to Delhi was diverted to London because of a problem with the toilet system.
We spent the night there and got up at 4:30 a.m. to go from our hotel back to London Heathrow airport.

A quick breakfast.
Our plane took off eight hours later after the airline finally resolved a matching problem with the number of people on our flight and how many their computer thought was on our flight. Even our pilot was frustrated. Not the airline’s finest hour.
