We left for home. We were up before the sun rises. I searched for an Easter sunrise service in Morocco but was unsuccessful. However, my heart joins with others to say, “He is Risen!”
We said goodbye to our fellow travelers and most of all our guide, Omar, who has been a wonderful ambassador for his country.
Our flight goes from Marrakesh to Paris to Detroit to Norfolk. We will arrive around 1:00 am. My father has been in the hospital so I will stop by there on the way home. Being out of the country has been really challenging but my family stepped up in my absence.
Movies that I watched:
- Those Who Wish Me Dead – about running from the bad guys during a forest fire…that THEY started.
- Daughter of the Waves – a documentary about a young Tahitian pro surfer Vahine Fierro as she sets her sights on competing at Teahupo’o during the 2024 Paris Olympic Games
- The Last Duel – interesting story based on French history. Each character gave their account of an assault which lead to a duel to the death.
- Dangerous – a man attends his brother’s funeral only to find that bad guys are coming, too. It stars Scott Eastwood. I wondered if he was Clint’s son because he narrowed his eyes and stared a little too long … a trademark of Clint Eastwood. “Go ahead and make my day.”
I stop in to let Dad know that I have returned!! What a happy reunion!!
Before long Morocco will be a fond memory. Until next time, dear readers!!
He is Risen, Indeed!!
