Quotes are fun. So many are looking up meaningful words for the upcoming Valentine’s Day quotes. Here is link for inspiration:

Love Quotes

These are some of my favorite non-Valentine quotes.

This is the way that I feel. My home has always been wherever my family is. We have been over the moon to have a mini-reunion with our baby girls who wanted to catch a first glimpse at brand new baby girl, Lucy!

“I don’t have a favorite place. I have my favorite people. And whenever I am with my favorite people, it becomes my favorite place.”- Unknown

This quote was shared to me by my friend and fellow world traveler, Deb Nicklaus

“I am not the same having seen the moon shine on the other side of the world.” – Mary Anne Radmacher

This quote goes out to all the courageous new mothers adjusting bravely to a new lifestyle like my daughter, Donna Miller.

“Sometimes courage is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying, ” I will try again tomorrow.””- Mary Anne Radmacher

This quote is for my son-in-law Nathan who is a woodworking artist. He will be displaying his creations this Saturday at his first craft show.

“He who works with his hands is a laborer. He who works with his hands and his head is a craftsman. He who works with his hands and his head and his heart is an artist.” St. Francis of Assisi

And for my daughter, Elle Correll, who is the queen of cider and has a fan in the House of Windsor.

“Everybody thinks I drink beer but I actually like cider.” – Prince William

Her husband, William Correll, runs Buskey, a cidery in Richmond, VA and as an entrepreneur isn’t afraid to try new things.

The most valuable thing you can make is a mistake – you can’t learn anything from being perfect.”- Adam Osborne

This quote goes out to all the girls who know who they are and march to their own drumbeat like my daughter, Amy Street….and me.

“If you ever feel as useless as a white crayon, find someone who prefers black paper.” Unknown

This is a humorous quote for my daughter, Julie Street, who is a volleyball coach for University of Indianapolis.

“Sorry princess, not even Cinderella could get to this ball.”

I just made this one up and would like to credit my brother, Russ, for his inspiration.

“I do as little as possible and try to look busy doing it.” Brenda Street

I can’t believe that Grandma Street just said that. Aunt Amy and I will ponder this new quote.

Grandpa Street and I discuss its meaning.

Grandma and Grandpa go out to buy groceries for me and my parents. On the way, they stopped for lunch at a good ole BBQ place.

They are amazed at the large roll of paper towels on each table. They said that they never had enough napkins in Southeast Asia.

Grandma took a picture of this poster and agrees with its veteran message.

And here are a few pigs that escaped the pig pickin’.

And for a final quote:
