Sentimental Journey Day 4: Traditions Tradition

Stewart and I went to downtown Garden City to buy men’s clothing at Keps. Afterwards we ate at Traditions which is a must each time we are in town. Traditions hasn’t changed much in 82 years. Stewart pulled out a weathered punch card from his wallet that awarded him a free sandwich. They still remembered his usual Hot Roast Beef Sandwich and a Root Beer Float. I had a belly bomb, The Big Bopper. They have a shelf full of old yearbooks and we located Stewart’s wife, Joyce, in the 1946 Buffalo yearbook. She is the pretty one with a knockout smile on the right. Kansas IS the land of beautiful girls. Joyce is one and one of her beautiful granddaughters, Elle, is featured on a shelf as well. The Tradition continues.
